On April 17th I attended The Reception at The City of London’s Guildhall, for the Reception, after The Funeral for The Rt Honourable The Baroness of Kesteven.
I also had the honour of introducing the late Baroness Thatcher on many occasions, including introducing her at The Savoy, for her last speech in public and presenting a Bouquet.
I have been very pleased to attend some other very memorable events this year, including introducing Katherine Jenkins for Arbuthnot’s 180th Anniversary Celebration Dinner.
May continued with several more very interesting jobs, including working at St James’s Palace for Lady Elizabeth Anson, looking after the Royal Bank of Canada with HRH Princess Michael of Kent.
The Conservative Spring Luncheon at The Dorchester with The Rt Hon Teresa May The Home Secretary as Guest of Honour. The CBI dinner attended by The Chancellor of The Exchequer at The Grosvenor House Hotel. An awards reception For The Mayor of Tirana, attended by Apostolic Nuncio and several Cardinals and a reception and Dinner at st James Palace for Outward Bound, attended by HRH the Duke of York.
June was also a very interesting Month with one particularly very busy and high profile week, starting with a Luncheon at The Shard, attended by HRH The Duke of York, on 4th June a reception attended by several dignitaries, including, The Foreign and Home Secretary’s and The Chancellor of The Exchequer.
Thursday Evening saw me at The Dorchester for De La Rue and Friday was an Investiture Ceremony in Honour of his Excellency Mr Juan Santos Calderon, The President of The Republic of Colombia.
I then went to Paris for an Emerald Wedding Anniversary Held in The Palais De Chaillot and on my return a Luncheon for His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Haman Al-Sabah
For the 60th Anniversary of The Kuwait Investment Authority at The Guildhall.
I am now looking forward to The Summer holidays and a very exciting two day job in Venice.
